Officer Reports
President(Susie Pope):waiting to hear from FAC about funding; haven’t officially submitted blender
resolution because there is a question about it, will be in old business; constitution was rejected because we
don’t have a “finances” section and because “Truman State University” can’t be in the title; we’ll need to make
more amendments; standing rules in the folders now; BNB Senate is leader(s)/”liter(s)” of the week
Vice President (Regina Rodgers): write caption for the picture in the notebook—new meeting activity;
thanks to everyone who helped with trick-or-treating in the halls, it was awesome; the activities were good too
Secretary (Kim Slattery):reports discussion—decided that everyone will write down report and give it
to her at meetings; mail, brag bag, attendance; submitted letter of resignation to Susie; gave Susie the room lottery
form for next semester, will be on Tuesday
Treasurer (Chris Walters):finals care package orders coming in; Halloween packages done; if you haven’t
paid for MACURH, give it to Kim Heitzman or Susie
NCC (Kim Heitzman):MACURH is tomorrow; most things are done; clothespins are done; Rufus is here, had him
since pre-retreat, goes back tomorrow
Webmaster (Katherine Tynan): Halloween winners on website and pictures from Halloween (except for winners);
if anyone has a picture of the winners or any others, feel free to e-mail them
Advisors (John Gardner and Emily Haupt): mid-year SA applications due Monday; intention forms due next Friday;
working with Dean of Student Affairs on questionnaire for Ryle Hall Cafeteria, going out soon
NRHH (Craig Deken):had meeting on Sunday; had tacos; OTMs due last night; should hear about them soon; cookie
sale on November 21 and 22; people should go see Jared in Ryle that Saturday from midnight to 1
Student Senate: (Kim Slattery)technology committee looking for members; travel to other universities to figure
out what advances they have; try to implement changes by fall; Dr. Krueger will try not to shoot anything down that students want
Hall Reports
Blanton-Nason-Brewer Hall:made profit of about $150 on Haunted House; got some money; talked about making t-shirts;
delivered recycling bins
Centennial Hall:just got done with Halloween; had haunted house; Bobbie got mauled by some kids; no meeting on Tuesday
because of elections; looking for a couple activities before end of semester (something volunteer-y)
Grim Hall and the Apartments: talked about t-shirts; had an election party; penny wars got started and go through 14th;
assassins still going, has been for a month; at the end of next week, if it’s not over, there will be a three-person shoe-down
Missouri Hall:election wrapped up on Tuesday; waiting to see what will happen with blender resolution
Ryle Hall:not doing Mr. and Mrs. Ryle because nobody came to dress rehearsal, will have open mic/open stage thing on
Saturday at 3; will do letters to soldiers as service on 15th; presenting winner of Ryle Cup Challenge with trophy on reading day
West Campus Suites: having scavenger hunt on 15th; will have SA making balloon animals for visit day on Saturday; flu
shots at West Campus
Old Business
- Blender Resolution: haven’t officially submitted because smoothie makers are said to be permissible, but they aren’t;
Kim Slattery moved to remove third whereas clause, about smoothie makers, from resolution, Katherine Tynan seconded;
Kim Slattery called to question.
Motion passes.
New Business

Committee Reports

Programming:will have turkey in the SUB on Monday and Tuesday before thanksgiving from 11AM to 2PM; Reading Day;

Internal Affairs:egg drop contest; care packages

Residential Affairs:questions for survey sent to Ryle so they could see
Committee meetings will be in regular meetings now due to low attendance in committee meetings, probably after new business.
