Officer Reports
President(Susie Pope):had an amazing time at MACURH; most likely receiving $415 from FAC
Vice President (Regina Rodgers):amazing programming meeting; Tuesdays at 4:30PM in Centennial Hall Main Lounge
Secretary(Kim Slattery):mail, brag bag, and attendance going around; if you don’t come to three meetings in a row,
you won’t be on the attendance sheet anymore (to save ink); bring reports
Treasurer (Chris Walters):Halloween care packages are still done; finals care package orders still coming in;
will need help with delivery; writing checks to people; people who still owe money for MACURH will be found and held responsible
for paying
NCC (Kim Heitzman):MACURH went really well; two top-ten programs; Truman won large school Most Spirited award;
people should run for NCC-IT
Webmaster (Katherine Tynan): all info about MACURH awards on website; pictures will go up this weekend
Advisors (John Gardner and Emily Haupt): received blender resolution and are reviewing it; recruitment for SAs
for 2009-2010 has started; info sessions about being student adviser will be next week and week after Thanksgiving
NRHH (Craig Deken):bake sale going on next weekend on Friday and Saturday; accepting nominations for new
members until this Sunday
Student Senate: (Kim Slattery)Hunger Banquet this Sunday; passed FAC slate for funding
Liter of the Week is Sharon Robbins because of her awesome cheer-leading abilities at MACURH.
Hall Reports
Blanton-Nason-Brewer Hall:made thank-you notes for everyone who helped with Haunted House; discussed t-shirts and advertised
on doors, price will be between 10 and 12 dollars; 42 people signed up for recycle bins and will be getting them next week
Centennial Hall:thinking about ideas for the end of this semester; handing out candy canes to people; decorating lounge;
brainstorming for January
Grim Hall and the Apartments: Penny Wars still going on until Sunday and second floor is winning (but probably not anymore); Assassins
will end tomorrow with a 4PM Shoedown in the field behind UCS; Thankful for Grim dinner is next week; decided on t-shirt design, says “Grim Hall”
in a crazy circular blob thing and “If you’re normal, we can help.”
Missouri Hall:forum at 8:30 on Wednesday in Chariton Room to discuss piano issues; two ad hoc committees – director of fine arts
(to promote fine arts on campus, like Lyceum events) and director’s commission on sustainability (which will strive to make MO a greener building)
Ryle Hall:had open mic talent show on Saturday that went surprisingly well; letters and cards for soldiers 11AM-3PM on Saturday in
Ryle Hall Main Lounge; award ceremony for Ryle Cup Challenge
West Campus Suites: having a silent auction next week; photo scavenger hunt on Saturday, the 15th from 2-4ish PM; paper tree
for Victims Support Services; received congratulations from WCS SAs for MACURH Most Spirited Award; Loungin’ in the Lounge coming up

- Budget Approval: Ryan Brinkman for reimbursement for clothespins, dyes, and containers for $45.96; motioned by Bobby Ritchie, seconded;
motion to table, seconded.
- Constitutional Revisions:
- Adding:
Article X: Finances
- Dues
- There are no dues for membership in RHA.
- Expenditures
- All budget approvals will be brought before the general body in New Business.
- Upon approval of an expenditure from the general body, the Treasurer will write a check.
- Dissolution of Funds
- In the event that RHA ceases to be in existence, the money in the RHA account shall revert to the Hall Senates.
- The amount of money given to each Hall Senate shall be determined by the number of residents in that hall.
- The Hall Senates shall receive the same amount of money per resident living in the hall.
- Striking:
the Dissolution of Funds Statement in Article II Section D
“Truman State University” from the name of our organization
This amendment is necessary for the constitution to be approved by the CSI; Kim Slattery moved to amend constitution as such.
Kendall Smith seconded. Motion to table, seconded.
Bobby Ritchie moved to amend the constitution as follows: Article 7, Section B, Part 5, letter D states, “The Advisor(s)
will count the ballots when all ballots have been submitted, and will present the President with the name of the candidate
have the most votes. The president will then announce the name to the general body.” Change to “…having the most votes….”
Seconded. Motion to table. Seconded. Tabled.
Kim Slattery moved to amend the constitution as follows: Article 7, Section A, Part 6 states, “A one half page letter of
intent must be sent to the RHA Secretary by each candidate no less than three days prior to the date of election.” Strike “half.”

ResLife Fun and Spirit Committee – looking for help for hot chocolate/donut distribution on a significantly snowy day; goal
is to brighten people’s day; sign-up sheet going around
